I have no clue, I found reference to a scene in a recent series I never even heard of which qualifies:

And as for my answer, I don't know if it broke new ground. But it is an episode I remember watching.
07-20-02, 03:34 PM DorianGreyed I think I just saw a urinal in use on "Scrubs' within the past 2 weeks. I know I saw one in use on a re-run of "Homicide: Life on the Streets." But it may not qualify as a public urinal.
07-20-02, 06:56 PM dogspit This is entirely too weird, the episode of E.R. being rerun here today had Dr. Greene & Dr. Ross standing side-by-side tinkling to their hearts content in the hospital's facility. (Episode: Something New orig. aired 1997)
07-20-02, 10:24 PM Lighteningrodd Actually the answer I had in mind was on the TV series, "Hearts Afire".
I remember an episode with John Ritter and Joe Bob Thornton using the urinals in a public restroom.
As for the name of the episode or the date it aired, I don't have that information.
