Was there a dog who, when gettng a snack would just go nuts over the treat and then slowly drift back down to Earth like a feather?

The mice were actually called Pixie and Dixie and the cat's name was Mr Jinks.

They were the brainchildren of Hanna-Barbera and were part of The Huckleberry Hound Show, I believe way back in the late 50s & 60s

The dog who loved the treats was "Snuffles," the tracking dog of the western cartoon character, Quickdraw McGraw.

I know it wasn't Huckleberry Hound that, when he got a treat, he would float up into the air & back down...I believe it was Mutley that did that.

I think Texan-in-exile is more right!
