Does anyone remember a childrens show from the early 50's. You placed a piece of celephane over the tv screen and drew on the screen with the show host. I have the name Winky Dink in my mind.......

Do you possibly mean "Picture Pages"? ************************************* 06-06-02, 02:56 PM teeceeum Yes, I do remember the show. I threw a fit until mom bought me the clingy plastic to put over the screen to draw on. It also turned your TV into a "color" set. There were various colors impregnated into the plastic.
It had to be sometime in the mid-fifties as we did not have TV in my house before then and I would have been far too old to be interested by 1960.
Winky Dink sounds very familiar, though I'm not sure if that was the name of the show. I'm pretty sure that it was the name of a character, though.
