What actor/actress in the movie "The sound of music" lost a couple of teeth during the filming and had to have them replaced with false teeth?

It was Debbie Turner. She played Marta von Trapp.

Georgia, you beat me to it by some considerable margin! But in looking it up, I came across something that annoyed me a bit.

The site Trivia for The Sound of Music (1965) says Debbie lost ”many loose teeth” during the filming. This makes her sound either extremely careless or bit freakish.

But Debbie was born in 1956 and the film began in 1964, so she would have been only about 8 years old. Incisors drop out as I recall in first or second grade (age 6 to 8) so I expect her baby teeth fell out during filming and had to be replaced by false teeth to prevent continuity problems in the film.

Yup! That's right. I would hate as an 8 year old having to wear false teeth!!!

If memory serves me Dakota Fanning has said in interviews that she wore false teeth in a movie or two. I don't think it's that far fetched anymore for children actors to have to wear a false tooth filler.
