PersianKittie	Posted Here goes my first post: Does anyone know what the computer requirements are for using Second Life? I am not asking about the minimum requirement, but more like what the ideals are, in order to have the smoothest experience. Thanks!

Posted Hide Post Depends on what level of graphics you wish to use. I'd recommend: - 1.7 Ghz processor (Dual core not necessary, since SL only uses one at a time) - 1GB system RAM (3GB if running Windows Vista) - Nvidia graphics card w/ 256MB (or more) RAM. (Nvidia cards tend to work better with OpenGL) - Internet connection that can provide a constant 1.5Mbps or faster, with low latency. That should get you at least 15-30FPS using Windlight with various settings cranked up. Always remember to exit all programs before running SL! See also: http://secondlife.com/corporate/sysreqs.php
