i have a pc game called total anilation. and i am setting up a home network so i can play head 2 head aginst some one. i looked in the games manual to see if there were any special things i needed to do and noticed a feature called modem. it said that i could connect my modem to the other computer's modem to play mulitplayer. my question is can i just connect the two computers' modems together w/ phone line or do i have to use the phone jacks and phone service? if u need more info or unclear on somthing i said e-mail me. You cannot simply connect the two modems directly together. You must plug the modems into separate phone lines and have one modem dial the other.
