when i stick the bejeweled 2 deluxe cd into my computer it will not automatically run. It brings up programs to open it up with. My cd drive says that it is a music cd. The game has music on it also. How do i run the program so i can install it on my computer.
What's happening is as you say the computer is seeing it as a Music cd Please post what sort of Windows your computer is running, and one of us will be able to tell you how to swap the File Association on the CD over .This tells Windows what sort of program it is as Priority.

Same as myself I have a feeling this may work... Don't put anything in the CD drive open the start menu ,click on the My Computer icon to open a new Window Next locate the CD drive (C://?) Right click on the icon and then click on either Properties at the bottom of the menu or "Sharing and Security" halfway down the list gets the same page There are 5 tabs on the next window. Click the Autoplay tab (2nd from left) All I want you to do here is to change the setting in the "Action box" to Prompt me every time to choose an action .And change the top setting to Music files (if it says something else?) Finally press the Apply button then the OK button to save the settings and Close the window Now try the CD. Any better?

My computer is already set up that way. It shows the music files but it doesnt show the game file or set up or anything else, just the music files. The nero player is where the music files can be open.
Try forcing the CD to work by holding the Shift key when inserting the CD (bypasses Autoplay) Then when the window comes up click on the EXE or COM folder with the program Name such as Bejeweled2.com It'll be the largest file

Ok If nothings happened then click Start>Search Window opens and in the bottom of the 3 boxes change it to the CD drive letter Next just click the search button below and the contents of the Cd will be displayed Click on the Install file or the Largest file marked either .EXE or .COM if its really old program then it could be a .BAT to start the program up You are on your own from here PS There may be a "readme" Text folder with some instructions on how to run the game?
