Graphics and sound are excellent Playing area is Huge. Puts many Games to shame.
Ok want to chance your arm an beat those monsters senseless? Reminds me of a Gauntlet/Kungfu mix
First you'll have to download a 500MB zipfile Plus patches OK for BB can be done in about 2 hours (with a download accelerator program such as DAP)
But if you cannot wait that long send $10 to the address on the homepage and they will send you a CD with the file There is an E-mail contactAddy as well but that goes to China (game is from there)
The game is free to play(in Beta) Months of play in it

Setup has to be done with screen set at 800 and the Colors on 16 bit otherwise it won't play
Feel free to wander around until you find your bearings there is lots of help both on site and elsewhere as where to go precisely(map co-ords)
In some parts the screen is very dark,but I think It may need a tweak with the gamma control (which I cannot find) But other than that It could be a classic? 8/10(-1 for the bugs)
Tip get to Level 20 and a decent weapon then you can really start whacking

Ok, before I download their software, how does one change an XP from 32 to 16????

And, what kind of game is this roll Playing against others or with others?

I am a pacifist by nature and the idea of even beating up on some other player always makes me feel guilty.

Is this super bloody? I dislike blood, too gorey.

First thing Its swat the monsters only can hit players but you get killed by the guards in town its birds at first then skeletons,ghosts (where I am now) they get stronger rewards are better
Away from the town you can set the controls to friend and you don't get killed so often ,Kill too many people you end up in Jail That sound Ok to you?
Tip get "Sycees" they are worth more silver.
Meteors you use to modify weapons .Find one? keep taking to storage (which is close to where you revive)Good thing to find
Expect to be killed dozens of times and keep close to the city if you are low on funds when beginning, visit the pharmarcist to keep you health topped up(found to right and upwards)
drag 1 item into the horizontal box and click on it if you want to top your health up?

Ok setting the display
When you run this game you are best minimising your browser
Then right click the middle of the screen select Properties> Settings tab> reduce the picture to 800x600 and in the adjacent box turn the setting to Medium (16 bit) then press OK
If it has not changed sucessfully the program shows an error message return and rectify..
Click the Conquer 1.0 icon to start
When you finish playing the game click on the settings box and the "exit" is found there
To reset the screen display to normal do the reverse of what you did to lower the resolution
Otherwise there are "scroll bars" everywhere
You'll do this in seconds with time

Ok, Well With a 8 hour download time (ouch) I assume that it takes up a lot of space on the Hard drive. Hm.

Still waiting for the download to finish - I got bumped 3 times and finally downloaded their linked download critter. Sheesh.
