i had my puter repaired, because it had a virus, now the virus is gone, but after i install the game it freezes, and also since i got my PC back the sound is terrible, it sounds like someone talking into a fan, you know how kids like to say ahhhhhhhhhh into a box fan, it like vibrates. please help me Confused

Sounds (no pun intended) like they cleaned it but never updated your sound or video drivers.
Probable BIOS update if you have on board sound.
Other than that you need to upgrade to the latest drivers for your sound and video card.
That would mean 2 different driver installs.

You guys/gals need to give your system specs.for better answers.
At least the windows version 98se/2000/XP
and how much RAM/video card, etc.
