Howdy,
I had to format c, on a friends computer, it was pretty messed up, so that was the only thing that could be done. My question is everything looks okay, its running smoothly, but when I went to find the games, you know, solitaire, hearts etc, it didn't have it on there, why? My friend said it had been on there before, so I'm wondering what happened. Is there anyway I can look for it on her Win 98 disc and load it up for her? If not what site has games like this that I can download for her and transfer to her computer?
Keep in mind this is Win 98 not Win 98 SE, I made a big mistake because I at first tried to load up Win 98 SE over her Win 98 to straighten things out, but this just made the matter worse, that's when I had to format c, obviously you can't put Win 98 SE overtop of Win 98. Am I wrong? Anyways, I went back to her original Win 98 and everything is okay.

Not a problem.. Have the Win98 cd handy and then go to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Windows Setup..

Now, take a look in the various headind until you find "Games".. Put a check beside it and okay out.. Windows will ask for the cd and proceed to re-install the games.

Supposed to be nice here as well, BUT it is the weekend and if the forecast says there is an 80% probability of clear skies, that means there is a 20% chance it will rain. Guess which "probability" will most likely hapen !! *L*
