Quite a few things there
First off Welcome to Answerpool and ) B) Do not type with your Caps Lock key "ON" ..that's "SHOUTING" on forums and you may not get a reply as a result
Ok to business...
The error feed-back Messages to Microsoft
they can be turned off they are an annoyance
But you have to go into the Control Panel "Administrive Tools" folder to switch them off ..Though there are 3rd party programs which can do this for you
Dwight may know a quick way of Isolating this?
Moving On I have this Installed on this computer and like you I have had issues with it Runs good now
The big problem is the Graphics You'll need a 256 MB graphic card Minimum to get any life out of It and it will still be chugging along so the only card to make it run will be a card with 512MB RAM and 1 GB of Memory any less and it'll Draagggg!

And of course it needs the DirectX 9.0c driver which the Latest graphic cards all have any lower number then you are going to see Nothing but can be updatable
Sounds scaremongering but Don't Panic
go to
www.filehippo.com/updatechecker/ And download the tiny program (does not install) Have to download and "add on" to help it run
quote:
But it gets better...
The client is FREE, only 100kb to download and only takes seconds to run! In fact on our test machines the process is complete in under 2 seconds!
What are the requirements?
The Update Checker works on any Windows PC running Vista, XP, 2003, 2000 or 98.
It requires that the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is installed, which you may download directly from here.
and if all is in order all you do is set it running and it checks against the Database ane matche agaist your programs And I'll expect you are going to see a lot of updates

Ignore the Beta programs offered but the Graphic drivers Mediaplayer updates DirectX Java and Flash are all worthwhile updates Looking elswhere any Anti-Virus and anti-spyware Program updates Flagged for you Do Take them OK?
Keep you busy for a while If you get stuck Updating post again
Last word the Graphics
must be turned down to the Minimum setting if its jerky but if your computer can cope then turn them up a little bit at a time (even mine is running at a low level but the quality is still good)
PS If you played the originals this one is a hard challenge Lots of hours game play in it

I'm about halfway through the Missions keep me going all Summer
