The Nintendo DS is designed to play all Game Boy Advance games in single-player mode. The Nintendo DS connects wirelessly for multiplayer games, so games must be programmed to use it, something not done with Game Boy Advance games. It's also worth mentioning that the Nintendo DS does not have a port for Link Cables or the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter. What this means is that if you enjoy playing Game Boy Advance Games against your friends, don't give your Game Boy Advance system away yet!

Also, please keep in mind that the Nintendo DS is not compatible with Game Boy games that were designed for use with the original Game Boy, Game Boy pocket, or Game Boy Color. For additional information on the Nintendo DS, please visit www.nintendods.com.

The day I posted, I also emailed the company for their response. I got it today. Smile

Hi!

The Nintendo DS is designed to play all Game Boy Advance games in single-player
mode. Please note, however, that you will not be able to use the multiplayer
feature of the Game Boy Advance games. Because the Nintendo DS incorporates
entirely new ways to connect wirelessly with friends, its games must be
specifically programmed in the new multiplayer format. Multiplayer Game Boy
Advance games do not have this capability. Additionally, the Nintendo DS does
not have a built-in cable port, nor is it compatible with the new Game Boy
Advance Wireless Adapter.

Also, please keep in mind that the Nintendo DS is not compatible with Game Boy
games that were designed for use with the original Game Boy, Game Boy pocket, or
Game Boy Color.

In addition, Nintendo DS games are not compatible with the Game Boy Advance
system.
