Being a homeowner, I'm sure you know that the projects never end. What are you working on now?

I am currently redoing my children's playroom into a bedroom.
Tried that painting with a sponge. Instead of a sponge though, I used pieces of old jeans. I did three different colors.
Turned out great.
Now I just have to hang the border.

You are so right. Home owning, the never ending story.

I am just starting to replace some (8) broken ceramic floor tiles. Looks like this could be a fun project. Joking.

I am in the process of installing a suspended acoustic tile ceiling in our basement. If I had it to do over, I would wait until I had a helper. Unfortunately my better half was occupied with shoveling our 28+ inches of snowfall. Wink

i am currently painting my bathroom. i have to wait for warmer weather to finish as it is oil paint, and i hate the smell.
yesterday i installed a second shelf in my spice cupboard for more space.
in the summer we are going to tear out my kitchen cupboards and install shelves instead. i hate cupboards Big Grin
i have to finish painting my living room, replace the floor in my kitchen, paint my bedroom, replace the taps in the tub, redo the sink in the bathroom and add a deck.
once those are done i will be happy Big Grin

I have to ask, what do you plan to do with the kitchen? I would love some ideas. My kitchen is large, but it has terrible storage space. I need some updating!

our kitchen is 8x12. its tiny. the cupboards make it look tinier. so they are going. we are going to put up shelves instead, so everything is out in the open.
if you click on this link, under the heading buckhead: canter road
click sues kitchen, and click the arrow to watch the transformation, what theyve done to the kitchen is basically what i am doing to mine. except mines going to be blue Big Grin

My mom loves Trading Spaces. I think that I would have a heart attack if someone redecorated in my house even though it needs it. I want some organized space. You know how you never find anything in the back of the cabinets? I need more cabinets too. I can't even put all my food away without a squash to do it. I definitely need kitchen ideas that don't cost in the thousands to do that look good and are useful.
