A large story on an airline crash which killed more than 50 people graced the cover of the very first issue of USA Today. What airline experienced the crash and whare was the crash ?

I would guess: Spantax Airlines DC-10 on takeoff from Malaga, Spain, ( that,s "whare" it was) Big Grin on September 13th 1982.
