Who coined the phrase:

"wine, women, and song"?

Would it be Johann Strauss?

My guess is that if it was not Shakespeare, it was in the Bible.

Franklin Pierce Adams, American journalist, poet and humorist, was the first to coin the phrase "wine, women, and song."

While I am still looking for a Shakespearean usage, or a Biblical one, Adams can be eliminated. It seems that Franklin P. Adams (1881-1960) was born after Johann Strauss II wrote the Wine, Women, and Song Waltz.
