It is saig, thaig or talc which means "ice" or "snow"

We may think that that's the first word recorded in writing but it surely can't be the first word uttered Smile That the first word uttered, rather than written, by our African ancestor was 'snow' seems a little unlikely. What's your guess? Mine is the word for 'that', which beats pointing at something ! Now the puzzle is why some ancient scribe recorded 'snow' as their first word. Of course, if they were from Africa that might be the first significant thing they saw to record on their migration Big Grin
