It's the kind of small detail which Americans take for granted, like yellow 'school buses', but which is interesting to foreign tourists.

[We never have popular slogans for our towns and cities here . We only get e.g. 'Royston,twinned with Grossalmerode and La Loupe' outside ours. We haven't got 'school buses' at all, yellow or otherwise.Children take a normal public bus or, sometimes and rarely, an ordinary coach which is hired for the purpose from a local coach company and which is in the coach company's everyday livery]

The barefoot mailman died from drowning when trying swim across an inlet leading to the ocean. Or he could have been devoured by an alligator , his body was never found. It happened in Lighthouse Point at the Hillsboro inlet, if I remember correctly.
