The phone book? The Book of Common Prayer? Debrett's? Who's Who? The Travel Guide to Ibiza's Clubs and Nightlife? Oops sorry, I thought it was the "Give me 5" game over at DP.

As a wedding gift it may have a good, and salutary, effect. The first time I gave it as a wedding present the couple stayed married and are still married now, nearly 40 years later

DG, when I just read your post, I read it as an expletive. Like, "Hoooooly Bible!" But, yes, you are right, the bible fits too. Bedstor, the thing is, your question is more like a riddle, and it's one where we have to guess the answer you have. I'm sure it's a very clever answer. But it seems to me, that a trivia question should only have one answer. We can keep guessing, as to what answer you have, but there isn't really just one answer here.

"I mentioned nothing about Books Its Book Type Singular ..."
The others are right. The singular/plural problem doesn't exist. You asked for a book with a 2 word title.
What Book title (2 words) Do "Famous" people use?
I assure you that many famous people use the "Holy Bible" often. Two that come to mind are the Pope and the Archbishop of Canterbury. I assume that both Heather Mills and Paul McCartney did, too, if they both gave oral testimony. (I don't know the details of your legal system.) Do your elected officials take an oath on the Bible?
There are, no doubt, several, scores, of two-word titled books used by famous people. I suspect many in the UK have used "Oliver Twist". Both the recently deceased Charleton Heston and Cecil B. DeMille used the book "Ben Hur".
Just because you asked a question that had multiple answers does not mean that you don't have to accept answers that fit your question. It is not their fault that you didn't write a question that elicited only the answer you wanted. Trivia is not, as I have said before, guessing what number you are thinking of.
When I call to make arrangements for my team to play in a trivia contest, I always ask "Who wrote your questions" What did they use a a source? What is their background?" I do this to find out if they person has any idea of how to write a question that asks for the answer expected, and no others. I have done this to avoid questions like the one posted at the top of this thread. I started doing this after having the following question asked at a contest:
"He was one of the worst dictators in the world during the 20th Century. Who was he?"
My team no longer goes to contests emceed by people who do not know how to write trivia questions, and, since my teams is well-known, I have spread the word about those kinds of contests. Since the contests are fund raisers for various charities, the effect of writing bad questions is costing the organization money.

I believe I did, and so did Fred and DG. I'm not famous ( maybe infamous), but I 'use' such books. There are too many correct answers to your question, as I said. But congratulations, Dogspit, for guessing what bedstor was thinking. A winning T-shirt is on it's way to you.
