Yes, at no time in the play is the island ever given a name. Critics just refer to it as the island and so it's a bit of a trick question - just like asking what the first name of Maxim's second wife is in the novel "Rebecca" by Daphne du Maurier (she's refzrred to only as Mrs de Winter throughout).
