The 500 euro note.

The 500 euro notes are sometimes jokingly nicknamed Bin Ladens (because "we all know they exists, but no-one has seen one lately"), Big Grin

True.Or, if you prefer " It's worth a lot of money to you if you ever catch it but you'll never see one". I've just been paid in 'bins'. They are pretty useless. If you try to pay a bundle of them into a bank there'll be lots of questions asked Wink They are too big for an everyday purchase. That said, years ago I paid in about £3,000 in Francs at my bank when 'laundering' regulations first came in. The senior cashier, a formidable lady of the kind that used to be concierges , asked me sternly in French " Where did you get this money?". Now, I know the French mind so I replied in French " Madame, I am a pimp !" She took one look at me and , without a word, stamped her record and took the money in Big Grin
