I believe it currently is on display at the Art Institute of Chicago.

When we visited, my teenage son didn't realize that the Art Institute was a major museum as well as a school. When we encountered "American Gothic" he said, "Wait a minute. I've seen that picture. Is that real?"

No son, it's just a framed poster from the gift shop... Smile
