Paul Gauguin will be known forever for not only his works, but his life. Yet the biggest thing he worked on wasn't finished until after his death, and few even know that he was involved. What was the biggest thing Gauguin worked on?

Excellent ! Gauguin (1848-1903), whose father was French and mother was Spanish-Peruvian, was lucky to have only been there two weeks. One reason the French stopped work on their canal was that the death rate from Yellow Fever was so high that replacements were needed constantly. The world was lucky, too.

After this question went unanswered for a day, I was starting to thing it would go a long time before anyone got it. Very good, Jenny!

( I liked that title, Magnum Opus. Big Grin)
