The other day I was watching MTV and they have this show called Made where they send a coach/instructor and other professional people to help a person/people achieve some sort of goal. Well, in one episode there is this band ska/alternative called Everybody's Favorite Band the Sly Caps (Sly Caps for short) who waned to win some colledge competition and make a demo.

I just wondered if any of you heard of this band before and what you thought of them, although I doubt it since they are just a garage band. Point is, they are really good, and after the show aired, there was a HUGE response from kids and they became one of the most downloaded bands on the Internet. I think there are probably hundreds of good garage bands like this out there and kids are just really hungry and eager for this type of music, so when something comes out, they grab onto it and immediatly classify them as "the greatest band ever". Anyway, I just wanted to know if any of you heard of them before and would like to see your comments on the hwole "good bands need exposure" thing.

Even if youd don't have an opinion, I still highly recommend you guys download a song or two, I'm sure you'll like it, I did.

Yelena, I'm not much of a music buff but I have to tell ya, I really enjoyed those guys.
The Boring Life was my favorite but then I haven't listened to them all yet. I'd like to see them make it. They look like a nice bunch of kids. I go for the cute kids look. What can I say, I like Back Street Boyz, Isync, the like. (Have I just shattered my image? )
