I was just curious if anyone out there is having trouble with their Yahoo Messenger. I am always logged on as "invisible" and for the last few days I have been receiving many random IM's from people I don't know. I ask if they see me online and they say yes, yet on top of my messenger it states that I am "invisible". My friend just let me know that the same thing is happening to him. I can't find anything on Yahoo that states there is a problem.. anyone know whats going on???

I suspect what's happening is the cookies for Yahoo Messenger have glitched and the Yahoo Server sees them and says "you are online"
To verify this go to the Yahoo members directory http://members.yahoo.com/interests? (grey box top of page) And Messenger switched off (exited)and look for your screenname has a grey "sad face" (under your yahoo avatar)
This means that you are not "on air" Ok?

Solution? Not worth putting an "away message" up. People still pester you (Learnt that from ICQ)
Your best hope is to do a cookie clearance in Internet Explorer offline(with Yahoo exited) Post again if you are not sure how to do this
Next, log on again (all saved logons will have to be remade manually ) But this method is only used once in a blue moon.
And you should get your peace back?

What exactly is going on with your Ebay Account??? You didn't happen to give out your password to a "FAKE" Ebay email did you????? You would know if it were fake if it didn't mention your real name.. it would say Dear Valued Ebay Member, or Dear Ebay Member, etc...

Let me know exactly what is going on...
