keep getting windows messenger window popup asking if i want a new version! I went to services and set it to manual but it did not help!I also went to properties and set it to manual, still no help ! I guess I should say I am using AOL,and have XP,any suggestions!

If you're not using Microsoft Messenger you can set it to not run at startup. Open MSN messenger and click the Tools/Options/General. Uncheck those options you don't want.
