lately my computer keeps freezing up on me when i'm on the internet, i have run CCleaner, and my Norton anti virus and windows defender everything seems to be ok, i'm on windows vista

My guess would be that ccleaner has removed a necessary file. Can you undo the changes and see if solves the problem?

I don't think i can change it, i never saved anything, it doesn't happen every day, couple times a week maybe

Yeah I don't trust the aptly-named CrapCleaner! The only time I used it, my computer would not shut down afterwards, good job I had set a restore point before running it.

Have never used Vista so cannot give the Procedure For System Restore for this operating system

CCleaner clearing a Windows System file? Roll Eyes .Is designed Not to go into that section! Confused

As you say its Random A full clearout of all the Caches Web History/Cookies (something corrupt) especially in Cookies could be the Trigger.
Do Write down all your Logins /passwords as you'll lose those when the cookies are cleared
PS Your Favourites will be untouched Smile
