I would like to do this:

on one of my Geo-cities pages. I got down to the part where it says Copy and paste and get stuck.

does this mean I paste it in a text window of Geo-cities or am I suppose to stick it someplace else? Does Geo-cities even support this kind of thing?

Am I just too stupid to figure it out or is it possible that the way to do it is not obvious?

It means you have to insert it into the HTML source code on your Page
And it is tricky especially when alligning the text to show. I have a hit counter on my homepage somewhere lost because I put the code in the wrong place.
No HTML enthusiasts here at the mo

I came back to remove this, or at least edit to say I found out how.

Silly me. I played with the thing for nearly three hours before giving up and coming her to ask how too. I posted my question went back to my page to fiddle, and I found the key to unlock that door.

God I feel so stupid, it was easy - once you figure out what to do.
