Not Found (404) The file that you requested could not be found on this server. If you provided the URL, please check to ensure that it is correct. If you followed a hypermedia link, please notify the administrator of that server of this error.
Make absolutely sure the URL address is correct that you are posting as the link, this is the problem 9 out of 10 times....copy and paste this as your link: http://www.answerpool.com/groupee/forums?a=cfrm&s=669605981 Any character missing will give the 404 message
Great answer Bazcaz Comp crashed while typing my answer in here what I typed:
quote: Check the link to see if you have inserted a space or comma ect this can sometimes "trip " a 404 error On the 404 page it says something like "go to the www.answerpool.com page" in RED Text.... look over this link carefully you may spot the typo ? Another way retype the link as Http://www.answerpool.com or Http://answerpool.com copy these into your page if you like Beyond this I have no ideas why it is getting an error message generated Thought has occurred to me.Maybe the Lycos webpage is case sensitive and you typed in with a Capital A or all Capitals? In Answerpool enter it as:"answerpool" and it will accept it Also look around the setup page for any options to insert Hyperlinks in a separate place. Some of these homepages dislike having links within the main body of the text
