Not sure how to word this, but...
I am looking for ideas on where to list names of people I have known and might like to catch up with online so that I have maximum chance of finding them. Not necessarily a people search (especially not one that I'd have to pay for), but a site / blog etc. where search results for their name would show my list on more than just blog searches, so that they can contact me if they so choose (that way the option is totally theirs). Anyhow... I have plenty of time (and no cash to invest), so any and all ideas on places I could post either lists of names, etc would be appreciated. Thanks.
I've used this site before: who-me.com You can post names and information about people you are looking for. You can also do a search for yourself to see if anyone is looking for you! Check it out and see if you like it.

It's beleive it is geared for any country. When you put in search criteria you can put in the person's last known City, State, Providence, and/or country.
