Are there any instructional web sites that tell how to build/design a web site? (For beginners, I mean.)

it is really very good. I use it frequently to refresh my memory on various HTML points.

I hope this helps!

I have a website that shows how to create a website. You can find it here. Easy instructions for both personal and light commercial sites.

And don't forget to visit the sponsors! big grin big grin big grin

If you are interested in authoring your own HTML codes, here are some cheat-sheets with common codes: Webmonkey.

If you'd rather start by using pre-designed templates, Tripod and Angelfire both have templates where you just enter in the information you want displayed.

Also, always remember to name your main page "index.html"!
