First, I suggest you check the Add-ons to see if any of those are causing the problem. In Windows Internet Explorer (IE 7.0), click the Tools menu, Manage Add-ons entry. If you don't see the Tools menu, you can right click in the Menu bar area and choose "Menu Bar". That will turn on the old menus. Also, you can just click the Tools icon (
See the picture) and choose Manage Add-ons. Note, if the picture is too small to read, click it an it will enlarge.
Do the add-on disable one at a time and check to see if the problem stops. If the problem stops, the add-on that you just disabled is the fault. If you see this result, you can then uninstall/reinstall that add-on. Repost for additional reinstall information and be sure to name the add-on that you disabled to solve the problem.
If you disable all the Add-ons and there is still a problem, then the likely problem is with the IE 7.0 installation. You can uninstall/reinstall the program in the Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs applet.
Start/Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs
Look for the "Windows Internet Explorer" entry and select it. Click the Change or Remove button and then do the uninstall. IE version 6.0 will be automatically reinstalled.
Once it has been uninstalled, you can download/install a new program file from
Download.microsoft.com Look for Windows Internet Explorer 7.0 in the search.
I hope something here helps, and please post again if these steps don't solve the problem.
