My bosses daughter has had some problems lately with someone hacking into her msn messenger. Who ever is doing this has done it to her and her friends. They are 11 years old. The person doing it is just writing profane things in the message line and who knows what if they are sending messages to her contacts. She and her friends have already changed their passwords and the next day it happened again. My question is, is there a way that someone could be hacking into these girls messenger accounts without knowing their passwords and/or sign in information? If so, then how can you avoid it? Any answers would be helpful. Thanks in advance
Yes, accounts can be hacked without knowing passwords. I am not a hacker so I dont know how it works but I do know one way is via a keystroke counting program. And if you don't have your computer protected with a system like ZoneAlarmthat blocks external internet access your system is accessible to anyone who knows what they are doing.
I recently had my Yahoo account hacked and very elicit comments made in one of my profiles. There is such a feeling of violation when you can see your profile with your picture and are forced to read things about yourself and knowing that others are reading the same things and there is nothing you can do to defend yourself. But thankfully our AnswerPool computer guru, Dwight, did tell me about ZoneAlarm and I installed it and now I know when someone is trying to access my computer and I see when they are blocked.
