I would do a search on your computer. Many times the local phone company offeres internet service. You get one bill and sometimes it is a little cheaper.

I see the $9.95 thing but it also says $14.95 a month for high speed. Not bad either, but is that DLS, CABLE, or something they came up with?

Their $15 service compresses images, text and emails before sending them to you so pages seem to load at the speed of dsl. It is not an actual boost in transmission speed. Works much like AOL's proxy.
