On my computer the MSN pass port box thingy had lots of user names. I assume that when other people use the computer that the MSN pass word box thingy saves this sort of information.

Now I would like to remove all of those names getting it back to just my name there so when I do use it to sign on to my groups I do not have to scroll through it.

How do I clear out the MSN pass port pop-up?

David

I believe all you have to do is right click the other users and select "delete" for each user you do not want.

Trying going to your menu bar under Tools then to Internet Options...

There should be an options to clear history. I think that should work. Maybe not?

David, I just tested mine and as cswchan suggested, I right clicked my address and deleted it. It worked just fine!

Try this out if you have no joy
Press Start>Run open regedit and find this entry
It will be in a similar format/position to this depending on your version of Windows this is off XP
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSN6\Users\your name @msn.com
delete (highlight and right click) the entry in the left hand pane of any names that follow yours.
This should do the trick? Smile

No names, just a lot of code??? Things like login, failed, whats your pets name. things like that no use names.

Perhaps I can uninstall passport and reinstall it?

Maybe I can just reformat the disk and start fresh?

I'm on XP to David
So deleting as I say anything below that 1st entry is OK and If you do get into a muddle
The 2nd best thing would be to reload the program this is not on the Add /Remove list Confused
Not really too sure how to reload the MSN browser unless It's as a paying member ConfusedI use it for free! I like to know the answer too David if things go wrong Frown (both the people who'd know are away Ill (Dwight & Byter) Frown) There is an update link but that brings your browser up to current spec. msn://@ui.mar@/settings/updatenow.htm

Am I paying to be on MSN?

Well my IPS (cable) set up gave me a hotmail account, my Log in name is my name - I never use it since I use Yahoo.

I also have the MSN messenger, never use it, buts its on the computer.

Well thanks anyways, I rarely go to MSN groups anymore.

Cheers
