Is there any particular reason you're wanting a "portal" Internet Service? Your Verizon account already provides you with Internet Access and email which is what AOL also provides. So my question is, why add AOL which would be redundant. This page describes your verizon tools: Click here. The one advantage that I can see with the AOL is if you travel a great deal and need to access the Internet using a laptop computer. AOL does offer a "bring your own access" plan: See this pageBut if you're interested in AOL for travel reasons, then why not just sign up for AOL broadband directly? Drop the verizon and get the AOL as your primary Internet Service Provider. If the initial setup of Internet and email is a problem for you, I suggest you hire one of the many computer technicians who come to your home to do a one time setup and brief training to show you how to use the programs. Call a computer repair shop and see if they provide this service, or if they don't, perhaps they can recommend someone to you. I hope something here helps Dwight
