Just when you have seen all the ways at looking at Maps here is a new angle.
A9 have started a Block search where you click on a location as usual but you do not get the map/ street map mixture instead you get the aerial street map(Mapquest) and.. pictures of the street on order as a Gallery Cool So you can view all the shop fronts in a street if they are on a website. Houses and factories too Cool
And you can scroll along the street(no pun) with the viewer Cool
Now the bad news, it only covers major cities In the US but I hope they'll add more deserves a wider audience Wink http://maps.a9.com/

Nice map service there, Bedstor. They had best expand it though. US only, and even then just a few select cities. What about those of us living in rural obscurity?

I live outside Liverpool UK supposing UK cities were added only Liverpool/Manchester would be on the list from the local area....
40 miles of non covered area between and a 200 miles gap North to Glasgow 100 miles south to Birmingham.
Local local town area coverage? 2015 Possibly... Roll Eyes
Being serious I'd like to see how this service develops could be good for a business traveller or a tourist?Smile
Imagine if a House agent/realtor put his catalogue of properties for sale or let on here (often have photos taken) This would really be a major improvement on this (if the server can take the load?) Smile

Kewl! I found my apartment complex and the pictures aren't that old...the pictures were taken shortly after a new company took over the complex. Shows the temporary sign at the entranceway. Just 2 clicks down you see the back of my building Big Grin

That's a really nifty idea. I can see my future dorm room from here! The campus sure looks bad during the fall.
