A design feature of Windows is that a program window will open in the same position and size that it was in when closed. This means that if instead of maximizing a window by clicking the maximize button, you drag the window to the size and screen position that you prefer, then close the window and reopen it, it should open in the same size - position that you set. Some additions to this: You can set the Window to always open in the maximize position by selecting the shortcut that you use to open the I.E. and choosing "properties". Then in the Shortcut Property window --> Run box set "Maximum" or what ever setting that you would prefer. Picture of thisAlso, I.E. Windows size - position setting can be altered by "popups". If an ad for instance pops up in an I.E. window and you close the window, you may have to drag it back to your preferred setting when you reopen it. And if you have multiple I.E. windows open windows will only remember the size position of the last one closed, so close all but one window, then drag it around. I.E windows open via hyperlink (like from email) will also sometimes resize the window, too. When that happens you will need to resize the new window, close it, then reopen it from the hyperlink. Just for fun pic. I hope this helps! Dwight
