I'm having a lot of diffculty getting text editor boxes on the internet (for things such as college discussion boards and website editors) to show up in Internet Explorer 7. I would love to be able to run Versions 6 and 7 on my laptop (not at the same time). I looked into a couple of multiple version downloaders, but unfortunately they don't work with Vista.
Then I tried to downgrade from Version 7 to 6, but I can't do that either since Vista comes with IE7 preinstalled. I don't see it anywhere in the add/remove programs window for me to uninstall it either. Am I out of hope here???
I'm open to the option of completely downgrading to 6 if that's the only way I can solve this issue.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The website I manage is through a local government agency and therefore is password protected. So I can't show you the page that won't work. I can tell you that it's a Javascript web editor in the form of a large text box that allows you to enter HTML code. There is a small red "x" in the upper left hand corner of the text box, and it won't allow me to click on anything. I don't know if that info will help or not but it's all I can give. Sorry!
