Since changing my isp a month ago - I cannot receive security updates from mcafee clinic.
I use dial up system.
I received the following: mcafee centre is unable to connect to the internet, check that your connection to the internet is functioning correctly.
I am pretty desperate as they do not reply to emails and I cannot update my sec. system

Hello Diat68 and welcome to the 'Pool. It sounds like you would need to uninstall the McAfee virus protection, then install it again. You can do this in the Control Panel utility "Add-Remove Programs".

1) Click Start
2) Click Settings (you may not see "settings". If not, just click control panel)
3) Click Control Panel
4) Scroll to the McAfee product and select it (a single click on it)
5) Click the "Add-Remove" button
6) Complete the Add-Remove Wizard steps
7) Restart your computer to complete the process.

Once the uninstall is completed, reinstall the McAfee.

By the way, I'm not a fan of McAfee anti-virus. If I were to list the virus protection programs I like best the order would be:

Norton Anti-Virus 2003

AVG (Grisoft)

McAfee
