quote: I don't even know what an RCP server is...
Found this beyond my experience: quote: Rcp Copies files between a computer running Windows XP or a Windows Server 2003 operating system and a system running rshd, the remote shell service
This could be something as simple as your routers "driver" has corrupted (need updating?) or B) As you are on DSL the Firewall may be in need of a reinstall ? Or something along those lines First Question are you using this computer to post this query? Regardless of the answer Run these 2 tasks In the Run Box on the Start menu this may rectify the issue? NOTE Does take a while to complete...Scandisk may spot and fix the issue?(Run this 2nd) www.fayette.k12.il.us/99/Intro2Comp/checkdisk.html If there are any errors displayed then a cleaner program like www.ccleaner.com will clear these (after unticking the cookies & history boxes) errors from your computer Like a mini defrag

Try this program out... WinsockXPFix.exe It fixes the addressing part of the "IP Stack" (to do with connections) www.iup.edu/house/resnet/winfix.shtm Clear illustrated guide is on this webpage Download link here too, about (1MB) I got it via a lady who had an Issue with a seemingly immovable piece of Spyware and a "Hijack this" Log scan and advice did not help But this solved her issue How she got it I cannot tell Just luck?
