The online class I am taking says you need to have a backup browser -- Netscape. They said the browser that is supported by their program is Netscape 4.7 except 4.78 and 4.79.
However, 4.7 is not listed as being compatible with Windows ME. I emailed their tech support person a couple days ago and am still waiting for an answer.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Some sites only work with Netscape (I haven't found any myself), or so they say. Windows ME should have come with a Netscape option, but you could always try IE, type in the URL & see where it leads you/directs you as far as downloading the proper version.
If you're taking a class that specifies an older version than the one you've got/is currently available, ask the instructor "what's up with that". If the instructor can't tell you...pretty scary!

There's no problem using Netscape 4.7x with ME I'v used it for some time (when I use windows anyway) You could also use Opera as a backup browser - you might be one up on your instructor if you did that!

Thanks very much for taking the time to answer my question. I'm getting quicker and better answers from here than from the tech support person for the college.
I will go ahead and download Netscape 4.76.
