I need a website where I can find statistics on how many police officer applicants are actually accepted. I know this varies by region, and I also know that most officers who want a job in LE never get one due to the high competiveness of the field. I just need some general percentages or conclusions on how many actually make it in. I need these by Wednesday October 26th. Thanks!

Try this link: One of the articles may help

Google search results. At the bottom of the Google search page is a link titled "Search within results". If you click that, you can do another search within the results page list. Using this link, you can add more search terms to narrow down the results. This helps you quickly get to your desired information.

I suggest you telephone your local office of the FBI and see if they have any nation wide statistics concerning police office hiring/training.

By-the-way, a local television station (in Anchorage) is running a series of stories about the Anchorage Police Department and the training that new officer candidates go through. You can follow these stores at this KTUU page and perhaps you can contact Angela Unruh (KTUU reporter) and ask her for additional information.

I hope something here helps.
