1. When I go to MSN groups I find I do not get all of those nifty posting options, including picture posting, italics, bold, well everything. Is this just a browser limitation?

2. Spell Check? I got so used to using IE spell check that I still right click to spell check posts - Does foxfire have such a beast?

3. Right now I have it asking me if I want to make Foxfire my default browser - I'm afraid to say yes because I don't know if I can return to Explorer. Is there an "easy" way to make Explorer my default browser should I decide Foxfire is not for me?

Now that I have Foxfire do I still have to have the SP2 from windows updates? (I have yet to install that)

I have no idea why Firefox doesn't have those MSN features. That's just weird.

Firefox doesn't seem to have Spell check. I've searched about it as much as I could and I'd be certain enough to say but I didn't even know Explorer had one. Are you sure you didn't download spell check yourself or something?

If you don't want Firefox as your default browser, you should be able to set your browser default in your program defaults place (mine is in Start and under 'set program access defaults'). You can also go into Explorer's internet options and tell it to reset your web settings.

As far as I know, you don't.

IE Spell Check download page: http://www.iespell.com/ This is an add-on program for Internet Explorer and it works great.

You can change your default browser setting in Internet Explorer's "Tools" menu, Internet Options/Program tab. For the browser option, click the "Reset Web Settings" button.

Note: You can also access the Internet Options tool in the Control Panel/Internet Options.

On the MSN page, look in the Foxfire "View" menu for "Tools". You might see an option for additional toolbars you can display.

I hope something here helps!

Now Dwight's calling it Foxfire? What the hell's going on??!! You guys know it's called Firefox, right?

IE spell check would probably work with anything you download it to. I don't know why it wouldn't. So go ahead and download it.

Well then Jusork that should show you how badly I need a spell check feature Wink

No, IE spellcheck only works on the Explorer Browser - it does not install onto the mozzilla/firefox/foxfire browswer. It is not accessable through the right click, nor does it put an icon in the bar(s) at the top.

You can go back and forth between using firefox and IE as your default browser. I do it all the time.

I primarily use firefox, but if I want to change it, I click on the blue Explorer icon on the bottom of my toolbar, and it automatically asks if I want explorer to be my default browser.

Mozilla does have a spell check and many other options that IE has. I have been using Foxfire for about a year now.

Here is a list of all the options available. You can update or get new extensions from there. There is even a tiny url creator. There are hundreds of extensions from IE view to Gmail notifications. Spell bound is in there but it will take a while to find it. There is some really neat stuff there! My spell check is called spell bound. You can download spell bound from here. (It is the same as getting it from the site) To find all of the extensions just go to your browser and click Tools-Extensions. Just know that spell bound isn't as good as IE Spell but it works. You do have to restart your computer for all of the extensions to work. I have about 30 of them! They are quite addicting. Be sure to check out Top Rated and Popular. Smile
