Have you tried deleting the Temporary Internet Files folder? Sometimes that gets to full. In I.E. click "Tools", then Internet Options. Click the "Delete" button. If that doesn't help, you might try the Internet Explorer Repair Tool. Click Start Click Run Type: msinfo32 In the Microsoft System Information Window, click "Tools" Then click "Internet Explorer Repair Tool". Check the "Repair" option and allow it to attempt to repair the I.E. installation. Note: You can also get to this tool by going into the Control Panel, then "Add-Remove Programs". Select Microsoft Internet Explorer, then the "Remove" button. If you don't see the Repair Tool, try going to the Internet Explorer Home page and getting a newer version. I.E. Home PageI hope this helps! Dwight

Okay, I didn't know that WinXP doesn't have the I.E. Repair Tool option. This page offers two procedures that may help. Dwight

Here is a Browser Tune page from Fred Langa that you may wish to try. I have run both the short and complete tests and found them useful. Browser TuneNote: the "Complete" test sequence is not completed yet, though the first part can be run. Dwight

It ain't happenin' without the router. If you want to connect 2 PCs to the DSL modem, you're going to need a router, switch, or hub. I was told that MSN only supports "SysLink" ('course, mine's "D-Link") so I'm going to call the D-Link tech support, again. Worse comes to worse, and much as it pains me to do so, I'll purchase a SysLink router and MAKE MSN make it work. Otherwise it's back to dial-up. Slow, but problem free.

D-Link makes the most stable router I've used to date with a print server and 4 Ethernet ports DI-704P. S, if your router is not by D-Link give one a try. I baught a cheap Siemns SpeedStream 4 port with print server $30 at CircuitCity. Had to return it twice and tech support had no clue either. The D-Link was only $63 at CDW. So stable I barely ever have to reset it compared to every five minutes with the cheap one. ivnj
