Hi, Up until a few days ago,I automatically connected to Internet when I turned computer on.Now,for some reason,I always have to manually connect.Only a small niggle I know, but annoying all the same.I have the button clicked which says "dial my default connection".I am running XP sp2 with a Speedtouch 330 modem, via Tiscali Broadband.I have also tried clicking the other buttons,"dial whenever a connection not present" and "never dial etc",but I could not connect at all with that one.Any suggestions appreciated Regards desi3026

You can put your dialup into the Windows Startup folder. If the automatic login is set, when your computer starts the dialer will dialup and then log in with your username/password.
To do this, just copy the dialup shortcut into the Start/All Programs/Startup folder. I'm assuming that you're running Windows XP.
Click Start/Connect to/Right-click "copy" your dialup.
Then click Start/All Programs/and right-click on the Startup folder. Paste the shortcut into the folder.
When your computer restarts it should automatically run the dialup.
I hope this helps!
If you're running an earlier version of Windows, you can do the same thing, except the pathway to the dialup shortcut will be slightly different.
