This may surprise you... There are 2 Beta Google tools which both save any search done on Google and Suggest a search pattern. Check out and save these pages as bookmarks Google Suggest http://desktop.google.com/ Combined they make searching both on your files on your computer(and on Google) very fast to find Google Desktop searches through places like Temp files History Files ect makes its own cache up. A bit buggy but doesn't affect the searching Have to register with Google accounts to use this or have a Gmail address? The Google Suggest Page is not subject to registration, but there are lots of new things coming up on Google. They are asking that you keep this account key open, and it automatically adds any new program into your portfolio with out prompting for a signup in future
