Check this web address and enter your username to see if your are on the List of the D.C. District Court for downloading music off the internet. So far 911 people have been subpoenaed.
Other noticable trends: - Dialup users appear to be somewhat safe. AT&T Worldnet and AOL only got one each. Two in a sea of millions. You calculate the odds, it's easier to win the lottery.
- Cable is being heavily targeted, followed by DSL, then Campus connections, then Dialup (which barely appears on radar).
- Only 26 subpoenas were sent to Gnutella users, compare that to the hundreds aimed at Kazaa. I also don't see anything mentioning IRC (home of some of the largest and fastest servers), I guess the RIAA is afraid off getting fingered.

Well I don't see the name I used at KAZAA on any list even JW's link. So am I safe if I just uninstall KAZAA on all my machines and never use it again? And when do U expect it will officially be outlawed?

I read on another site that they are only really interested in the big fish right now.. now sure what they meant by that.. maybe those that are doing lots and lots of file-sharing..
Almost sounds like IF you are a small time downloader, you are safe for now.. Not sure how long that means but I think the RIAA will be working to get the major players shutdown for now..
I've downloaded over 200 songs since I've heard about KAZAA. By large U mean thousands or more? Also isn't the user name just for chatting and not actually downloading stuff?
