You could edit the "35% off" bit. Sort of clarify it, you know?
"We used to mark our stuff up 50% on cost so what we bought for $10 we would ticket at $15 but hardly anybody seemed to want it at that price so we decided to mark it up 100% so what we bought for $10 we would ticket at $20 but now absolutely no one wanted to buy it so we marked it down by 35% of ticket price so that means we were offering it for sale at $20 - $7 or $13 and advertised it flagrantly and now we sell tons of the stuff to people who can't resist a bargain."

I kinda had my eye on the black cuff with punched and red painted circles. I've been saving up for one of those for a long time. And now that it's 35% off -- why wait?
I was just kidding about the markup thing. After all, it's still two bucks off what regular woulda been if they hadn't changed the formula.
