Ive always gotten pop-ups, but since a week ago, there have been throgs of them popping up 10 times more often than they used to. And oh no..its not just oen pop-up, its a million of them at the same time!!! And once you close one a bunch of others ones open up. Im going out of my friggen mind here.

They are all the same and all from this company called IE. I usedto get pop-ups or ads when I visited a website, but now they come out of nowhere!

I don't know what hapened and I cant afford to buy any pop-up killer sofware. Aggghh god here they come right now!!!! We're being attacked, men, Im under fire , help!!!!....

You need to delete cookies, but another thing could be a 'spawn' window on your browser. If you have no windows open but still see a pair of scroll bars, scroll down and to the right and you will see a tiny window whose sole purpose in life is to sit there and open new pop up0s every time you click refresh or go to a new page. It was set by a pop up, itself. Once these are killed they usually stop the problem. I only mention this because it is outside the scope of blocking domains, etc... I hope this helps.

You may have a program live SaveNow or Gator installed. Both of these programs deliver ads stright to your desktop even when you are not surfing! You may want to try scanning your PC with Ad-Aware. I'm also going crazy with all those popups and dunno what program is good, 'coz I tried several but seems like they didn't really do their job

Thanks all of you guys, but about 3 days after I posted, all the pop-ups just stopped. I apoligize if I sound vulgar, but now I keep getting pop-ups for enlarging you penis(3 inches)!


But i's only once a few hours, so I think I can live with them.

Maybe you should do an Ad-Aware scan, just to make sure the popups are not coming from something you downloaded.
