I am running Netscape 7.2 for the Mac (OS X Panther) and I had a question regarding auto complete.

I was wondering if it was possible to set up a situation whereby when I start to input my password or username for various sites - Netscape takes over and completes the word for me.

Obviously some sites come up with this option automatically but some don't and I was hoping you could help me with that.

Thanks.

Check your preferences to see if you have a Auto-Complete for login and password entries. I know version 6 has it, I would think version 7.2 would have it.

Click on "Edit" and scroll down to "Preferences" In the Category box select "Advanced". The Advanced menu will extend and you would click on a submenu labeled "Forms". The "Form Manager" page will appear, click the checkbox to enable auto-complete fields such as login entries. Then go back and select "Passwords" from under the "Advanced" menu to open the "password manager" page. Check the box that says "Remember passwords for sites that require me to log in" Then click "OK"

Again, these instructions are for version 6 but perhaps you can find the same for version 7.2. I hope so!
